MILWAUKEE, WI – After more than two years away due to the pandemic, the Wisconsin Cannabis Expo returned to downtown Milwaukee last Saturday.
According to WISN, the one-day event, which was held by the Shepherd Express, welcomed over 90 cannabis-industry vendors in the area such as dispensaries, testers, and growers.
Although THC products remain illegal in the state, guests over 21 could sample and purchase legal hemp and CBD products. The expo also provided community education through talks with cannabis industry and medical professionals.
In April, a bipartisan measure to legalize marijuana was heard by the state senate. However, that bill may not reach a vote until next year at the earliest.
