OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Voters will decide on Tuesday if they are going to legalize recreational marijuana for adults 21 and older or not.
If the ballot to legalize recreational marijuana is approved, then the state could see an increase of approximately $1.8 billion in recreational marijuana sales, according to ABC.
Medicinal marijuana is already legal in Oklahoma and around 10% of the state’s residents have medicinal marijuana licenses.
Oklahoma would become the 22nd state to legalize recreational marijuana if voters decide to legalize it on the ballot. If passed, OK residents can purchase and possess up to 1 ounce of cannabis products as well as grow up to 12 marijuana plants.
