Are you looking for a healthy snack recipe that comes with a zesty kick? Then this recipe for LĒVO infused beef jerky is for you. It is full of protein, nutrients, and flavor!
Paprika, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, and soy sauce combine to make the beef jerky flavorful and delicious. The cannabis-infused honey offers a subtle sweet contrast to the spices, and it possesses antioxidants and other health benefits.
While versions of beef jerky have been around for centuries, jerky made with LĒVO infused cannahoney is a gamechanger. With this recipe, you can make a snack full of botanical terpenes, as well as all of the other nutrients.
- 3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbps infused honey
- 2 tbsps ground black pepper
- 1 tsp red cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 lb beef top-round (thinly sliced)
- Combine ingredients in a large plastic freezer bag.
- Squeeze excess air out of the bag and seal it.
- Refrigerate the marinade for 3 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F.
- Put a lining of aluminum foil in a baking pan. Place a wire rack on top of the foil.
- Remove the bag and place the beef on a dry paper towel sheet to soak up the extra marinade.
- Lay the beef on the wire rack.
- Bake the beef for 2-3 hours until the beef looks dry. The longer you bake the jerky, the chewier it will be.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Serve or store it in an airtight container.
This recipe is very easy to customize. Make it as mild or spicy as you like. Sriracha hot sauce and jalapeno can also be added to intensify the heat. You can also substitute turkey, chicken, or your favorite meat in lieu of beef.
The trick to making jerky is to heat the meat at a low temperature for a long period of time. This process dries the meat out rather than cooking it. The jerky comes out better if the beef is sliced as thin as possible, but you can also use larger or thicker pieces of meat.
If you do not have pre-made cannabis-infused honey, decarb or “activate” your raw flower and infuse it into honey before you start the jerky-making process.
Decarbing Your Flower and Infusing Honey

How Long Does Infused Beef Jerky Last?
Cannabis-infused beef jerky can last up to two weeks if stored properly. The trick is to keep it in an airtight container in a dry, dark, and cool place or in the refrigerator. Freezing jerky extends its shelf life up to six months.
Freezing the jerky may slightly alter the taste. When you are ready to eat the jerky, take it out a few hours beforehand to let it thaw.
