MINNESOTA – Currently, the state has a bill being proposed to lawmakers that allows for marijuana-infused products, such as edibles and seltzers, to be sold outside of dispensaries at breweries, liquor stores, and supermarkets.
If passed, residents of the state ages 21 and up can purchase a multitude of cannabis products in a large variety of places and businesses can obtain a variety of cannabis licenses, according to AXIOS News.
Additionally, the bill allows for recreational cannabis products to be sold through home delivery services.
While able to sell products such as seltzers, breweries would not be allowed to produce these beverages on-site due to the risk of cross-contamination.
If passed, Minnesota would be the first state to allow the sale of edibles with a lower potency at everyday retailers.
