Woody Harrelson Opens Cannabis Dispensary, Consumption Lounge in West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Pot-loving actor and activist, Woody Harrelson, opened the doors of his very first cannabis dispensary and consumption lounge in West Hollywood last Friday.

According to a report by Page Six, Harrelson was joined by Mayor Lauren Meister at the ribbon cutting ceremony of The Woods WeHo, a business venture founded alongside comedian Bill Maher, Jay Handal, and designer Thomas Schoos.

The Woods will also future one of only 16 cannabis consumption lounges licensed in West Hollywood.

“Hopefully, we’ve added more beauty and more good times here. Hopefully, we can make the West Hollywood Citizens a little bit higher. It’s the greatest day that I’ve had in a long time,” said Harrelson in an interview with WeHo Times.

Harrelson also stated he will continue to fight for the federal legalization of cannabis and for those still imprisoned on non-violent cannabis charges.
