The state of Vermont is anticipating crowds at cannabis retailers in the month of October as recreational sales of cannabis are allowed beginning October 1.
According to Burlington Free Press, over two dozen Vermont-based businesses applied for their retail permits with the state’s Cannabis Control Board. However, only a few of the businesses have been approved thus far.
Many of the businesses with the approval of the CCB board plan to start recreational marijuana sales during October, with a few starting on October 1. All expect large crowds when they launch those sales.
