CONNECTICUT – In the month of January, the state had over $5 million of recreational cannabis sales and $8 million in medicinal cannabis sales.
Recreational cannabis was legalized in CT on Jan. 10 and the combined recreational and medicinal cannabis sales in January were over $13 million, according to NBC Connecticut.
All sales figures were reported by the state’s Department of Consumer Protection. They plan to update and provide sales figures monthly.
These figures do not include taxes that were collected on adult-use marijuana.
