Missouri Marks Record-Breaking $592 Million in Cannabis Sales

MISSOURI – Missouri’s cannabis industry recently reached unprecedented heights as sales hit an all-time high, according to KMOV.

Since the legalization of adult-use recreational sales in February, Missouri’s cannabis market has been flourishing, boasting a daily average of $4 million in legal cannabis sales.

In the month June alone, cannabis sales reached a total of $121.2 million, slightly surpassing May’s sales figure of $120.9 million. Adult use experienced a growth of nearly 3%, reaching $95.2 million in June, compared to the previous month. On the other hand, medical cannabis sales declined by approximately 8%, amounting to $26 million.

Within just five months of the implementation of adult-use sales, Missouri’s total marijuana sales have skyrocketed to an impressive $592 million. This figure represents the highest average monthly sales among the five states that legalized adult-use in late 2022 and early 2023.
