DES MOINES, IA – Senate Study Bill 1113 proposes allowing the sale of dried cannabis and expanding the number of medicinal marijuana dispensary licenses.
AXIOS News reports the bill would allow medicinal marijuana dispensaries to sell dried cannabis as long as it will be consumed via vaping. Additionally, the bill increases the current medicinal marijuana dispensary license number from five to ten.
Currently, Iowa is the only state that has legal medicinal marijuana and does not allow for the sale of dried cannabis.
