First Recreational Cannabis Dispensary Opens in NY This Week

MANHATTAN, NY – The state’s first recreational cannabis dispensary, Housing Works Cannabis Company, opens its doors this Thursday at 4:20 p.m.

According to CBS New York, Housing Works has been working on getting their licenses to sell recreational marijuana for three years.

The non-profit is known for its work in serving those with HIV and AIDS in the homeless sector. All proceeds from sales will go directly back to the non-profit for it’s efforts working with the homeless.

When it opens it’s doors tomorrow, Housing Works will sell everything from wrapped to pre-wrapped cannabis as well as edibles.
