Cannabis Telemedicine Platform, NuggMD, Now Available in Montana

MONTANA – Medical cannabis patents in Big Sky Country are now able to access an established telemedicine platform that connects those even in the most rural parts of the state with a state-licensed medical cannabis doctor.

According to a High Times report, NuggMD, allows patients to log in any day of the week between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. with their phone, laptop, or tablet, and be connected to a doctor in just minutes. Once the patient is approved, the doctor’s recommendation will be sent as a PDF through email so you could potentially purchase medical cannabis the same day.

Cannabis sales in Montana have had surprising results in recent months, making record sales in June. The highest sales in the state are in Yellowstone county, which took in $4.1 million last month alone.

“Yellowstone’s success makes it obvious that cannabis has been a huge boon for the tourist industry in Montana,” says CMO and co-founder of NuggMD, Alex Morgan. “But the medical market is still running strong in the state because the program provides powerful advantages for Montana patients.”

Medical patients in the state can purchase more potent products and save 16% on sales tax. They are also able to access medical-only dispensaries, which are more prominent outside urban areas.

NuggMD charges a fee of $129 to use their service. There is no appointment needed and if a patient does not qualify for a medical card, they will not be charged for their meeting.
