Atlantic City Recreational Dispensary Opens in Green Zone

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The first recreational dispensary in the city is set to open on S. New York Ave. on Thursday morning at 11 a.m.

According to 6ABC, MPX NJ will switch from being solely a medicinal marijuana dispensary to also selling recreational marijuana.

The Mayor, Marty Small, signed MPX NJ’s business license on Wednesday to allow for adult-use cannabis sales.

It will operate in Atlantic City’s green zone. This area is the only part of the city that allows for recreational cannabis sales and is located in the 24 blocks from Maryland Ave. to Boston Ave.
