83% of Texans Feel Some Form of Cannabis Should be Legal

AUSTIN, TX – In a recent poll conducted by The University of Texas at Austin showed that 83% of citizens felt some form of cannabis should be legalized.

Known as The Texas Politics Project, the survey questioned citizens on a number of political views and issues, including legalization of cannabis.

The survey showed that 28% of citizens felt that marijuana should be legalized for medicinal purposes only, 32% felt possession of small amounts of marijuana should be legal, and 23% felt that possession of any amount of marijuana should be legal.
