Weed Icecream Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup cannabis-infused condensed milk made using a LĒVO machine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Creating Cannabis-Infused Condensed Milk

  • Pack your LĒVO herb pod with cannabis and add it to the LĒVO reservoir of your LĒVO II, or LĒVO Lux machine. If you are using a LĒVO C, add your weed-full jumbo power pod to your basin.
  • Decarboxylate your cannabis using the Activate cycle. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for this process. Remember not to add the condensed milk or your magnetic stirrer yet!
  • Once the decarb cycle is complete, add your magnetic stirrer and fill the LĒVO reservoir or basin with condensed milk.
  • Set the temperature to 160°F (71°C) and the infusion time to 3 hours. Press the Infuse button and allow your LĒVO machine to work its magic. During this time, the cannabis compounds will infuse into the condensed milk, creating a potent cannabis-infused base.
  • Once the infusion process is complete, remove your power pods, carefully as the components will be hot. Use your LĒVO herb pod press, if available, to press out every last drop of your infused condensed milk. Place your pods to the side for easy cleaning later, as they are dishwasher safe.
  • Easily dispense your infused condensed milk into a glass container.

Making Your Weed-Infused Ice Cream

  • Combine the heavy cream, cannabis-infused condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Now, it's time to add your desired flavor ingredients to create different flavors of cannabis-infused ice cream. See precise recommendations in our notes below.
  • Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator and let it chill for a few hours or overnight until it is completely cooled.
  • Once the ice cream base is thoroughly chilled, pour it into your ice cream maker and churn it according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  • Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze it for a few hours or until it reaches your desired firmness.
  • Remember to label your homemade cannabis-infused ice cream properly and keep it out of reach of children or anyone who should not consume cannabis. Enjoy responsibly, in moderation.
  • Serve your cannabis-infused ice cream in bowls or cones, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Chocolate Ice Cream: Add 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1/2 cup chocolate chips to the ice cream base. Stir until the cocoa powder is fully incorporated and the chocolate chips are evenly distributed.
  • Strawberry Ice Cream: Blend 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries until smooth. Add the strawberry puree to the ice cream base and mix well.
  • Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream: Add 1 teaspoon peppermint extract and 1/2 cup chocolate chips to the ice cream base. Stir until the peppermint extract is well combined and the chocolate chips are evenly distributed.
  • Coffee Ice Cream: Dissolve 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules in 1 tablespoon warm water. Add the coffee mixture to the ice cream base and mix well.
Feel free to experiment with different flavor combinations and adjust the ingredient amounts to suit your taste preferences. Again, you can always combine weed with other tasty herbs, spices or fruit, our double-pod it up in your LĒVO II or Lux, with one pod infusing cannabis, and another pod infusing a flavor of your choice!
