Cannabis-Infused French Toast Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf of Challah or bread of your choice
  • tablespoons of cannabutter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Cut the loaf into 8 slices (you can make crosswise cuts). Each slice should be about ½-¾ inches thick.
  • Lightly butter the baking dish.
  • Spread the cannabutter on one side of each slice of bread. Now arrange these 8 slices, butter side up, into the greased baking dish.
  • Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, and salt in another bowl.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread.
  • Cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

It may be difficult to wait so many hours thinking about this classic breakfast, but the wait will be worth it. When you are ready to make the French Toast, follow these directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Remove the cover from the baking dish and place the dish in the oven.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Dust with powdered sugar, and serve with maple syrup.
